Hi, my name is Thomas Pfanner,
Until a few years ago, my relationship with my teenage son was a daily struggle.
I would spend the night laying wide awake questioning why I was losing him. His body language and actions made clear he was pulling away from me as his father.
I was frustrated because I knew his potential, but wasn’t able to connect with him. I was losing his trust to be the guide for him I wanted to be.
I was scared that my son would become a high school dropout, because of my failure to lead him as his father.
This changed when I discovered the power of transforming our connection through common adventure and focusing on my leadership. Today, my son and I are connected and close than we’ve ever been.
A New Approach, with Old Roots…
While working as a D1 strength coach, I saw firsthand the power exceptional leadership can have in creating power connection. When I began running Father Son Retreats and coaching Dads to amplify their leadership I saw a common trend.
